Instructions for authors

All papers must be written in English and submitted in pdf format, according to the layout provided in the template (see below). We suggest a number of pages between 10 and ~15 for full papers / Extended abstract (work in progress) submissions with ~800 words.

For submission the manuscript should not contain author's name and affiliation to make the blind review process possible! Otherwise, submissions will be rejected without review. Thus, authors are asked to take reasonable efforts to hide their identities, including not listing their names or affiliations and omitting acknowledgments and self citations. This information will of course be included in the published version.

By submitting a manuscript to the LBS 2012, the authors assert that it has not been previously published in substantially similar form. Moreover, no paper which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper either has been or will be submitted during the LBS 2012 review period to a conference.

Please note the resolution for your figures is more then 150 dpi.

Please check that the size of your pdf file is not more than 5 MB so that the upload should work properly.

Camera-ready paper instructions

The web interface for submitting your camera-ready papers is available at

You can access to the reviews of your contribution by selecting "Review Results", just under the acceptance status of your paper ("Your submissions" menu on the frontdesk).
Your final paper can be submitted with the "Final Upload" option.

Submission Instructions:

Please check that you have:

submitted your camera-ready abstract according to the EOGC layout in the PDF format
limited your keywords to a number of 5

Please do not put any footer to your camera-ready paper.

Final acceptance status:

Your accepted paper will appear in the proceedings of LBS2012 only if:

you have followed the submission instructions and
at least one of the co-authors (presenter) of your paper has registered to the conference
